What is Your Name and How Old are You?
Ashleigh Goodall (25 years)
How Long Have You Supported Your Team and What Made You Choose Them?I've been supporting them for basically all my life, as my family dragged me down. Since I've been able to make my own choice, it was too late to change as I'd caught the bug.
YOUR CLUB
What are Your Views on the Current Manager?Andy Scott. He is like Marmite. You either love him (as most of our fans do) or you hate him (as most visiting fans do). He is young, and slightly naïve.
He can sometimes make wrong decisions in games. But when it comes to players, and their commitment, he knows who is showing, and when they don't he ships them on (thinking of Steve Kabba and Cleveland Taylor as recent examples).
If you could have one past Player back in his prime who would you have and why?
I can't remember too many players that would change us or make us better, though we do need a proven striker, someone with pace and goals, so I'd go for DJ Campbell. Someone that cost very little, but gained us so much. And I even played against him in a fans v 1st team match!
What is your Greatest Memory from supporting your Club?
I remember my first away trip to Norwich for a 4-1 defeat in the League Cup back in 1992. It was a cold night, but it was my first away trip. But my greatest one is when we went to Wembley to play Crewe in the Play-Offs. We were playing against the likes of Danny Murphy, Kenny Lunt, Seth Johnson and Dean Ashton!
If you were in charge at your Club as Manager or Chairman what changes would you make?If I was Chairman, I'd move the away fans to Ealing Road, and home fans back to Brook Road. We miss it still. As manager, maybe make sure I'd get a striker that can score goals, without depending on others.
What expectations do your team's fans seem to have for this season?Survival. We just wanted to stay up this season, and so far it seems possible. At Christmas, we thought we may struggle with our form, and then at the end of January it was play-offs. Our fans are so fickle.
AWAY DAYS
What are the Best and Worst Away Grounds you've Visited to date and why?Best has to be Liberty Stadium (Swansea) I think. I enjoyed it all. The atmosphere was great, the Stadium looks terrific, and, although we lost, I even enjoyed talking about the experience on the long trip home.
Have you visited Prenton Park before and if so, what are your views?I haven't, but it is high on my list. My friend has been twice, and he enjoyed it. My aim is to visit a lot more in the next two years, so watch this space.
LEAGUE ONE
Who do you think will be Promoted/Relegated from League One this Season?
Norwich will be going up, for certain. Leeds could go, but need to start picking up (and from the 7th March would be good time to start). Stockport I think are already down. Wycombe will be joining them I think.
Where do you think your Team will finish this season?
I reckon we'll finish 12th-16th. We will lose a few more, and drop a little further down, but I believe our team are capable of finishing well, and climbing a few more spots up the table at the end of the season.
Where do you think Tranmere will finish this season in League One?Tranmere not had the best of season, but I think have the team to stay up. I think 18th to 20th is a good finish considering the current table.
GENERAL
On past experience, what are your views on Tranmere as a Club?
Like Brentford, Tranmere are close to ‘bigger' teams. I think they are due some success and think that with the right investment it will happen. But for now, like Millwall, they are a League 1 team at best. The fans have been brilliant when down at Griffin Park, and will look forward to meeting some again in the pubs on Saturday.
THE MATCH VS TRANMERE
Who is your Team's Man to Watch this Season and for this game?Myles Weston. He is a whippet on the wing, and at the moment, he is in form in front of goal. Charlie MacDonald is another to keep an eye on. If I were to name a third, Ryan Dickson, who will play if fit, plays on same wing as Myles, is someone that has definitely got Championship qualities. Simple stuff done perfectly, and even throws in tricks when his confidence is high.
Your Prediction for the Game Vs Tranmere?
After a 1-0 defeat back in December, our team will look for revenge, and as we're strong at home, I can see a 3-1 win for Brentford.
