Following Saturday afternoons 0-0 draw away at Bristol Rovers in Coca-Cola League One, Rovers Manager Les Parry was delighted withthe result but admitted that his side were hanging on towards the end of the game as the home side went for the win........

Tranmere Manager Les Parry was delighted with the 0-0 draw and subsequent point earned by his team away at Bristol Rovers on Saturday afternoon but admitted his side had to hang on in the second half.
Speaking to Tranmere Player after the game, Parry said.......
"It was a fantastic result for us against a decent side who have been in good form. It was a bit like the Alamo in the second half and I lost count of how many corners Bristol had."
"But our centre-backs Ian Goodison and Chris McCready kept heading them away and our goalkeeper didn't have to make too many saves."

"I knew Zoom was going to be red-carded when he made that challenge late in the game. He never makes bad tackles, but can sometimes be guilty of awkward ones."
"We were running on empty in the second half after some tough games recently. But I never felt we were going to concede and that's why I didn't make any substitutions."
