Total Tranmere brings you the latest update on the 'keeper situation at Prenton Park ahead of Friday night's match with Hartlepool

Article Header - Breaking News

Tranmere manager Les Parry announced yesterday that Tranmere might be without both their 'keepers for tonights game against Hartlepool in Coca-Cola League One, after Luke Daniels injured his ankle in training and reserve 'keeper Joe Collister was substituted just seveteen minutes in to Wednesday's reserve game against Carlisle United with a tight hamstring.

Parry revealed in his pre-match press conference that he was going to assess Luke Daniels' injury in particular in training on Thursday afternoon before deciding whether to bring in a goalkeeper on an emergency loan deal for tonights game.

However, the deadline for bringing in a 'keeper for the match was 12 noon today, and with no announcement made on a new signing, Total Tranmere believe that Daniels has passed his fitness test and will be available for the game, which is excellent news for Les Parry and Tranmere Rovers ahead of what is an important match in Coca Cola League One.

Parry though will have to make at least one change to the side that drew 0-0 at Bristol Rovers, with Aaron Cresswell likely to replace Zoumana Bakayogo, who starts a two match suspension tonight.

If there is any other breaking news ahead of tonights match, Total Tranmere will look to bring it to you here as quickly as possible.

If he is fit I just hope he lasts the game without any further problems as Collister is also struggling of course.

Yeah gotta hope Joe is fit enough to take his place on the bench as well, just in case. I'm sure Les know's what's best though of course!
