Parry Ponders: "The Front Three Worked Their Socks Off."

After Friday night's superb home win against League leaders Norwich City, Rovers Manager Les Parry was delighted with the effort of his players and in aprticular his strikers, whilst a somewhat bitter Norwich Manager Paul Lambert blamed the referee for the defeat......
Unsurprisingly their were differing views from the two Managers after Tranmere demolished League leaders Norwich City on Friday night live in front of the nation with a hard fought and much deserved 3-1 win thanks to two penalties from Ian Thomas-Moore and a third from Craig Curran.
Delighted Rovers Boss Les Parry told Tranmere Player......
"Every single player gave 110% and they had to because Norwich are a class act. We had a little sit down this week and decided to get back to the way we played to get ourselves out of trouble and that was closing, squeezing, fighting and we did that tonight."
"I'm not a great believer of it being easy to play against ten men and their keeper has made some fabulous saves so we created a hell of a lot ourselves."
"I didn't realise until before the game that Ian was on 99 goals so for him to get 100 is a fine achievement. I thought the front three worked their socks off."
Norwich Boss Paul Lambert, who was sent to the Stands by the referee in the second half was of course less upbeat but with a hint of bitterness, blamed the referee for the defeat......
Asked about his feelings on the game, Lambert told the Norwich City Official Website....
"Probably a bit mixed really because I thought some of the decisions were incredible, second half I thought we were excellent and even the first half I thought we had a lot of the ball. But the decisions I don't know where he's got them from."
"Definitely a doubt over the third goal that's for sure, the first penalty I I couldn't see what actually happened but he's booked the wrong man in the first instance. I just thought some of the decisions were poor. Sometimes if you don't start the game right that's what can happen."
"The good thing is that we never capitulated, we kept on going and the crowd saw that and I thought they kept with us and thankfully we have another game Monday."

They obviously had a rotten evening so you can understand he could have been far worse!
I will point out that he failed to see the 1st pen... yet knew the wrong player had been booked?? hows that.
but ive seen managers react worse than that who weren't sent off and conceeded 2 pens etc..
