Rovers Legends Line-up for Charity Match

A number of Tranmere's past legends are getting together in three weeks time for a Charity match at Vauxhall Motor's Rivacre Park Ground as they take on a Marine legends team in aid of the Jane Lowe Memorial and here we bring you some details of the event and how to get a ticket.....

On 2nd May, a day after Tranmere face Millwall at Prenton Park in League One, a number of Rovers legends wil come together for the Jane Lowe Memorial day charity match with Tranmere legends playing Marine legends at Vauxhall Motors FC's Rivacre Park Stadium.

Kick off is at 1.00pm with a Vauxhall v Vauxhall ABC match kicking off before the main event at 12.00pm. 

The planned Tranmere team include players such as Eric Nixon, Shaun Garnett, Dave Challinor, Dave Higgins, Gary Jones, Kenny Irons, Eddie Bishop, Chris Malkin, Ian Muir and Chris Camden who have all agreed to turn up to support the event.

There will also be a memorabilia auction after the game in the Social Club as well as comedians and live music and a bowl of scouse.

Tickets allowing entry into the game and club house later are for sale now at £5.00 adults and £2.00 for under 12's and are available from the Tranmere Club Shop or you can pay on the day of the game but will not be allowed into the clubhouse afterwards due to restricted numbers and space.A

ll proceeds go to the Hospice of the Good Shepherd to continue their excellent work so why not get down there for what will no doubt be a fun day?
