Total Tranmere brings you our end of season awards as we look to see who you think have been our best and most important players this season in what was a mixed campaign in the end for the Superwhites......
With the season having come to an end then, we at Total Tranmere are hosting our end of season awards, where we ask you, the fans, who has been Tranmere's player of the season and Young player of the season. The 2009/10 season came to an end just nine days ago, with Tranmere's battle against relegation, which had lasted the entire season, coming to an end on the final day as Rovers beat Stockport 3-0 to finish one point above Gillingham and Hartlepool.

For Player of the Season it's gotta to be Ian Thomas-Moore for me, whilst young player is Ashton Taylor

"hard working, committed, solid player" you do know I was refferring to Curran don't you? Perhaps you should re read my post then change your assesment of my post as you are clearly not reffering to the player in question.

He is hard-working and committed, he ain't the best player football quality wise but from the horrid season we've had he's the ONLY ONE who I'd say has actually given 100% each game. Even ITM had an off-spell in November/December but Curran certainly has put the effort in.
Quality wise he probably isn't good enough to be starting every week.. but take a look at our budget, he's a decent player for us.

Most Tranmere fans must be idiots then Matthew the Rover I guess, or maybe it's just you. Calling people idiots when their season ticket holders and make 300 mile round trip for home games is not a bright idea mate. If you think Curran is a good player you must be sniffing something during matches.

Ha ha. Bait hung and bitten. Well done lad. I think you'll find my "idiot" comment was very much in gest, but it appears you failed to see that, because perhaps you are indeed an "idiot". It appears you can quite easily give out insults but can't take them back in. Again, then insults given out because somebodies opinion differs. He's a very good, strong player who was very valuable to our cause this season.
He was playing out of position, on the wing, still got a couple of goals and did some vital jobs, both attacking wise and most importantly, especially early in Les' reign, defensively.
But then, I'm an "idiot" and I don't drive 300 miles to get to every home game, so discount my opinion please!

Im a fan of curran and think he does a good job for the team hes quick hard working and will keep going to the end but i would add his finishing is pretty poor at times he really should have scored more goals last season than he did.
I dont think the 4 3 3 system does craig any favours in that he has to do quite a bit of work helping out the fullback.

I have voted for Zoom and Ash, because throughout the whole of the season, they have contributed more than any other players Their overall performances deserve this.
