Holyhead Youth Friendly Date Moved Forward

Tranmere's Youth Team friendly against Holyhead Hotspur has been moved forward by a week from it's previous date and will now take place on Friday 9th July with a kick off time to be confirmed........

As the summer signings began today at Prenton Parkwith Joss Labidie signing a two-year deal with the Whites, there has so far been no further news on pre-season games but Total Tranmere can reveal that the previously advertised Youth Team friendly away at Holyhead Hotspur has been moved forward a week.

Tranmere Rovers announced part of their pre-season fixture list over a week ago, but the Youth friendly away on Anglesey at Holyhead Hotspur will now be played on Friday 9th July rather than Friday 16th July as originally advertised here.

The fixture list has been released a lot earlier than usual, with seven fixtures announced already, although Tranmere will play two fixtures on both July 13th and July 17th.

The list of games though is far from complete, with a number of fixtures no doubt hinging on whether Tranmere retain their League One status for the 2010/11 season.

Tranmere will Face Marine in Pre-Season

One of Tranmere's fixtures will be at home to Nottingham Forest, managed by Billy Davies, who missed out on a place in the Play-Off Final for a chance to be a Premier League club next season.

Rovers will also travel to non-league side Mansfield Town, as well as playing their usual local friendlies against local non-league sides.

Tuesday July 13th: Heswall (A) and Cammell Laird (A) - 7.00pm

Saturday July 17th: Marine (A) and Colwyn Bay (A) - 3.00pm

Tuesday July 21st: Nottingham Forest (H) - 7.45pm

Saturday July 24th: Mansfield Town (A) - 3.00pm
