Rovers Boss Parry Gives Fixtures Reaction

Following the release of the NPower League One fixtures earlier today which saw Rovers handed an opening day fixture at home to Oldham Athletic, Manager Les Parry has given his reaction this afternoon to the opening game and some of the more key games during the rest of the season......

 
Earlier today we brought you news of the NPower League One fixtures for the 2010/11 season which handed the Superwhites an opening day home game against Oldham Athletic and Les Parry has this afternoon given his reaction to that game and the key fixtures of the season ahead.

Speaking to the Tranmere Rovers Official Website, Les said....

"It's a massive game, a great game for the Club. It's a local derby and it will probably be one of the biggest crowds of the season for us.  It's nice to start at home - it's the first game you look at."

"It's a big first week, a home game followed by two away games and all three will be big tests for us.  But we've got to play them at some point."

"I always look at the first game of the season, the last game, Christmas and Easter, and then I finish off by looking at whether we've got any long trips on a Tuesday night because I don't like them."

"We've only got Brentford and Bristol Rovers and Brentford is around Christmas so you expect to be busy then anyway."
