Les Parry completes signing of right-back on a one month loan deal
Tranmere Rovers have today completed the one month loan signing of Leeds United right-back Liam Darville.
The defender has been on trial at Prenton Park over the past couple of weeks and played in Rovers' 2-0 defeat to a Liverpool XI on Tuesday evening.
The 19-year old came through the Leeds United academy and has represented England at youth level and has been a regular for the Leeds in their reserves and youth teams.
Darville spent the end of the 2009/10 season on loan at Rotherham, after signing professional for Leeds in summer 2009, but failed to make an appearance for the Millers due to injury.
The player comes in on an emergency loan deal due to injuries to Tranmere defenders Ian Goodison, Marlon Broomes, Timothy Cathalina and Ashton Taylor and goes straight into the Rovers squad to face Oldham Athletic on Saturday.
It has not yet been announced whether Darville will be able to play in the League Cup for Tranmere, with Rovers set to play Walsall on Tuesday in Round One of the competition.
