For those fans who can't make some of the Rovers games this season, particularly the high number of costly and time consuming southern away games, we at Total Tranmere will be providing a Match Discussion Thread on the Site for every Rovers game.
The thread will allow you to discuss everything from the pre-match build up and starting line-up to the game it as it progresses and the post-match anaylsis.

Where possible, Total Tranmere staff will post up the starting line-up and substitutes on the thread as soon as it is made known at the game.
Tranmere of course host Swansea City in the second round of the Carling Cup on Tuesday evening, so if you're not going to the game why not join in the banter right here while the game is going on.
Maybe if you have a friend or family member texting you from the game you can post their views here for others to see as the game progresses.
You could also use this thread to discuss other interesting scores throughout the league as well as discussing this game afterwards if you have been along to the game.
What you discuss below is up to you but hopefully it can all be focused on one thread to make it easier for everyone to use.
Admin staff will try and add the team and updates on the game onthis thread where possible but these details are updated also on our Twitter Page throughout the game so if you're not following us already why not do so at www.twitter.com/totaltranmere.

I have predicted a loss in the Prediction League though!

The only way I can see us winning if Swansea put an extremely weak team out and someone in white has an inspiritional night.
Does anyboby believe we wiil exceed 4000 attendance tonite?
sounds as tho Max B is doing well, just hope that Fraughny gets a run after the break
Good appointment for me.

Second half though we switched off for two minutes and they changed the game, scoring twice eand turning the game on it's head. It would have been wrong for us to expect Swansea not to play better second half, and they did play well after sluggish first 45, but still don't think 3-1 was fair.
I'd like to see the first goal again, as it could have been offside, but at the end of the day it was a fantastic example of a natural striker, following up the shot instinctively and then getting lucky as it bounced back off the bar. Just wish our defenders had followed it in too!
We had our chances, Cresswell and Labadie in second half, but main gripe with Showunmi who SHOULD have at least hit the target with a free header in the second half, just put it straight into the ground with ball falling to Gornell.
Thought Blanchard did well, solid, won lots of headers and positioned himself well, whilst Cresswell was strong too with some good crosses and let very little come down our left. Showunmi excellent first hour but then did nothing last thirty, whilst Welsh was busy in the middle too.
Terry Gornell did great in defence, a lot of good work helping out Darville, who is too easily dragged out of position, but he's struggling in front of goal (though so much pathetic and vile abuse from the strikers doesn't help) whilst Labadie flattered to decieve again.
Collister, fantastic, can't blame him for any of the goals and his save second half was world class. If that was in the Premier League we'd be seeing it for weeks.
We did ok tonight and I didn't go out of the ground with a sinking feeling like I did on Saturday. Stayed compact and disciplined - defence looked more solid with Blanchard.
Disappointed we couldn't take it to them once we went 2-1 down.
Back four looked solid I agree with the previous comments in regard to Blanshard. Midfield with Welsh and Ladibie did well McClaren for me did nothing again.
Fingers crossed for points on Saturday

Think he meant the fact we'd conceeded a few, and wasn't abusing you Matt34!
No I didn't think that's what he was doing, I thought he was responding badly to me, telling him miotto could play as well as just coach, as if he disliked the thought that Miotto could have potentially been used, at some point in the game.
After all that's what he'd asked regarding Miotto's status at the club, then when I responded he cursed.
