After Tranmere's 3-1 home defeat to Swansea City on Tuesday evening at Prenton Park, Total Tranmere is giving you the chance to vote for your Man of the Match.

Tranmere began well in the opening thalf and took the lead through Enoch Showumni with a great finish but from the moment the second half kicked off and Rovers sat back, the end result was never in doubt.

That would be, by the way, Maxime Blanchard, not Maximo!!!

Hard to pick one player on the night as I though it was a good despite the end result. In the final analysis they had better players than us but we gave them a scare.

Not seen Maxime before but he impressed me, Goodison out in anoother good shift despite carrying an inury and Enoch got his first goal but I will go with Welsh as he captained the side to a much improved performance.

Starting to think we should bite the bullet with ITM if we can get a replacement in before the deadline as he plainly doesn't want to be here any more and it is affecting his perfomances.

I think the whole team did very well to be honest. Swansea are regarded as one of the best 'footballing' sides outside of the Premier League and we managed to nullify their ability to get the ball down and play for a good hour of the game. Parry and the coaches have done a very good job at teaching the team to keep their shape. No one got sucked to the ball for vast amounts of that game until we needed to chase the game.

Enoch took his goal well through perseverance. However, I do think that he is our weak link in defence. His fitness is not up with the rest of the squad yet and when he fails to chase down the ball it has to bring out ITM to do some chasing out. I think ITM deserves a mention because he worked tirelessly in defence. Terry looked good for me too. He did well trying to protect his fullback and got in some good positions with the ball. Sometimes he chokes when he is in a good position though.

Blanchard was a very pleasant surprise for me. The last game I saw him play in was away at Shrewsbury at the beginning of this month. Last nights performance was very assured.

For me though I would have to agree with the majority here and say Welsh. He worked and worked and worked all game, chasing, harrying and blocking everything that came his way. A real gritty, hard-working performance.

Also, I though Collister was brilliant and was unlucky to concede their first and their third was always going to come once we started to commit forward. His save early in the second half was exceptional. That really was a top-class save. I was stunned that he'd saved that. He's a great number one to have IMO.

yeah agreed sub he never stopped running even at the end.

I think this one is hard to call for mom as several decent performances notably enoch except for his woefull header at 1 0 the midfield 3 goodison blanchard & collister.

I think Blanchard just shaded it.
