Just looking at their line up and at who they were able to call upon from the bench is enough to see they are a much stronger side than us, with players like Garry Monk, Cedric van der Gun, Dorus de Vries and Shefki Kuqi, plus Scott Sinclair and Alan Tate.

They made 7 changes from the game at the weekend but i thought the key was scott sinclair he looked very quick and dangerous.

Sinclair changed the game for me when he came on.

I think they've got a great squad with a great manager! He is not only capable of calling on stars off the bench, but he executes the changes at the right moment. For example, we held out for almost an hour, matching them for fitness, but then he made a double sub that completely changed the game.

That is exactly what we are lacking!

We've got nobody with any spark off the bench, and Les doesn't know how to change the game!

However, I feel we played really well and battled hard. As aforementioned, we matched a team in the upper echelon of the Championship for fitness, and nullifyed their potent midfield.

Blanchard and Darville were solid! Much more comfortable with Blanchard at the back rather than Wood (I don't squirm and winse in my seat as a runner runs at Blanchard, as I found myself doing on almost every such occasion with Wood in there...).

Enoch had his best game so far, won far more balls in the air, and looks sharper. His goal was a touch of brilliance to not only take it round the keeper, but to smash home such a confident finish from an acute angle!

The midfield was strong, and it's a good sign that the three lads in there matched what I believe to be one of the best midfields in the Championship. Labadie ran all night long, broke up play. Welsh led by example and tackled all night. And McLaren had a good game, putting a lot of tackles in!

So, all in all, there are more positives than negatives. If, and it is a big IF considering our baffling inconsistency, we can reproduce this form at The London Borough of Dagenham and Barking Stadium (wooosh... I shall call it Victoria Road ), on Saturday, then we should pick up our first league win!
