Brown Returns To Baggies

On-loan striker returns to parent club after the expiration of his one month loan spell

Welsh Under 21 international striker Kayleden Brown has returned to his parent club, West Bromwich Albion, after the completion of his one-month loan spell at Tranmere Rovers.

 

The striker, who can also play on the left wing, joined Rovers after their opening two games this season and has since appeared for the club five times.

Rovers however have opted against extending his stay at the club as he would have spent half of the next month away on international duty with Wales U21, meaning he would have missed several Tranmere games.

With Les Parry having also signed Lucas Akins, Adam McGurk and Sam Morrow permanently since Brown arrived at the club, this probably helped the Rovers boss make his decision too.

Should Tranmere want to make any further loan signings this season, they can do so from tomorrow, when the loan window reopens for Football League clubs.

I'm not to fussed on this. I think the likes of McGurk and Morrow look like they have more potential. He looked threatening at time sbut he doesn't look up enough at the moment. Could be a good player in the future though.

he wasn't playing as a striker, he was a winger mainly so we cant judge him.

agree with matthew, we could've been two nil to us if Brown looked up and seen Moore.

I also agree that this departure doesn't bother me all that much with the other options we have right now.

He's a good rospect, ut I thikn he did'nt really fit in at Tranmere. Possibly the system, or possibly a little inexperience, or just not quite the raw talent of some others. I am glad he came to the club and tried to do what was right, but it's not something I'm bumemd about.

I'd feel more bummed if this was Mendy leaving.
