Showumni and Jennings Take September Awards

After just over a week of voting, we can now bring you the results of our Player of the Month and Goal of the Month Polls for September and whilst neither result was too much of a surprise, the scale of victory in one of the polls was almost unanimous........

Last weekend we set you the task of voting for your Player of the Month and Goal of the Month for September and now after just over seven days of voting we can bring you the results of those polls with very few surprises in either of the two award catergories.

In the player of the month category the result was quite closely fought with just three votes seperating the top two and no fewer than seven players in total receiving votes from you the readers as follows:

So Enoch Showumni took the award for September, no doubt thanks in some part tot he two goals he scored out Rovers' dismal total of five goals for the month with Max Blanchard running Enoch a close second and Aaron Cresswell in third.

In the Goal of the Month vote it was a different story altogether with 97% of the vote, which is all but one of the 29 who voted, plumping for Dale Jenning's belter of a goal against Bristol Rovers which earned Tranmere a vital 1-0 away win.  The results for this vote were as follows...
