Tranmere Rovers are away at fellow strugglers Notts County in NPower League One on Saturday afternoon , so for all the latest news and match updates, and all the pre, during and post-match discussion, don't forget to check out our Match Discussion thread............
For those fans who can't make some of the Rovers games this season, particularly the high number of costly and time consuming southern away games, we at Total Tranmere will be providing a Match Discussion Thread on the Site for every Rovers game.
The thread will allow you to discuss everything from the pre-match build up and starting line-up to the game it as it progresses and the post-match analysis.
Where possible, Total Tranmere staff will post up the starting line-up and substitutes on the thread as soon as it is made known at the game.
Tranmere of course travel to Notts County in League One on Saturday afternoon so if you're not going to the game why not join in the banter right here while the game is going on.
Maybe if you have a friend or family member texting you from the game you can post their views here for others to see as the game progresses.
You could also use this thread to discuss other interesting scores throughout the league as well as discussing this game afterwards if you have been along to the game.
What you discuss below is up to you but hopefully it can all be focused on one thread to make it easier for everyone to use.

I'm guessing with the injuries Les could go one of two ways.
4-4-2, straight swap, Morrow for Showunmi, with Jennings on Wing again, or Jennings for Showunmi and Cresswell on the wing.
If he goes 4-3-3, then Jennings, Moore and Morrow, with Cresswell on the wing.
The look like they have 3 players out, with Westcarr unavailable potentially, so that should even things up.
The thought that the win, coupled with Yeovil and Dagenham failing to win, could put Tranmere 6 points clear of the bottom 4, is a great propsect indeed, but 4 at least

weve got hartlepool first before huddersfield.
A very good win indeed especially wth being down to ten men for a while in the 2nd half, its good to have another clean sheet gulacsi has done a lot better in recent weeks.
Its a shame that injuries and suspension are now starting to ount up joss will miss 3 games and welsh missed the hartlepool game as well.

An excellent 1-0 win. We didn't show much attacking wise, but we defended superbly and galliently, restricting them mainly to long range efforts and with Gulacsi very rarely troubled.
The referee was a bit of a homer IMO. He gave them a lot of decisions (although the sending off of Labadie was a correct decision, what he did was absolutely senseless) and missed a clear elbow on Goodison which should have been a red card.
It was good win though. We're now closer to the play-offs than the relegation zone and we look as if we could challange for a top six spot.
Now that our players are returning from injury, we look like a really solid defensive unit who has finally gelled and is well capable of scoring goals.

I agree. Plus the Hartlepool result if Tranmere win, would potentially open a 9 point gap over the bottom 4.
Shame the Brentford game ended up 2-1 not 1-1 as it would have given Tranmere another league place. They can get it for beating Hartlepool, but that's all.
However the points matter more than anything and the team now they're blending better and have had a fairly consistent selection policy, (obviously now against Hartlepool that won't happen).
Good job Les and the backroom staff. It's now starting to look like a good competitive unit of players, all things considered.

It was a very boring game, but have got to be delighted with 3 more points going into a very winable game on tuesday! Your right Mat we didn't show much attackiong wise, we weren't composed enough on the ball hoofing it long every chance we got. It shows how poor Notts County were, we were even passing it straight to them at the end and they couldn't break us down! Gulasci probably man of the match for me, really hope we keep him till the end of the season!
Labadie let the side down with a needless sending off and we'll miss Enoch as i'm guessing he'll be out on tuesday. Overall delighted with 3 away points but most teams would of turned us over the way we kept losing the ball and am hoping certainly the way we failed to put any attacking moves together is simply a one off.

I think the important thing is that as poor as we were (and we weren't great as peopel have already said above), we still managed to win the game despite that - has to be a great sign surely?

Not sure about the comparison as United is a strong team playing below par. I think the reality is that we are a moderate team (when we have a near full Squad fit) and overall a rather poor squad that leaves us vulnerable when there are injuries or suspensions. BUT there is an emerging spirit that is making us more competitive.We need luck,as yesterday, but wins must boost confidence.
Our prospects would be helped by extending the goalkeeping loan and by not having to play MClaren for his one pace game does not fit in with that of a team that has to scrap to compete

I think the Man United comparison is fairly valid. It's about can you sometimes play below your bets and get a performance, on this eveidence the answer is yes.
Although Tranmere would not have bene uinder as much pressure if Labadie had not done what he did. There might have even been a chance of a second goal, especially if Enoch and the full 11 could have lasted 90 minutes.
Ronnie Moore was the last person to win 3 back to back games in the league. Doing it twice.
Les has come close on 2 occasions last season, getting 7 consecutive points points on 2 seperate occasions.
Could Les join the 3 in a row club on Tuesday. I think so.

It sounds like we dug in and ground out the 3 points which I am pleased with, shows we have good spirit and are willing to work hard. It would be great to win tomorrow but I have a fear Mclaren may play and with injuries and suspensions mounting up it will be tough.
