Total Tranmere brings you a quick report from Raby Vale as Tranmere's youth team fell to a 2-1 home defeat against Wrexham Youth this morning in the Youth Alliance League.....
On a day when Wrexham's first team suffered an embarassing 7-2 home defeat to Gateshead in the Blue Square Premier League, their youth team fared slightly better as they overcame Tranmere's youth side 2-1 in a close game at Rover's Raby Vale training ground on Saturday morning.
Wrexham, who are not too far above Rovers in the Youth Alliance League table triumphed despite a goal and a missed penalty from Rovers midfielder Max Power with the Rovers team as follows...
