The flaw in his thinking is that despite the quality only one goal was scored.We need better finishing

I would not say the result was *Fantastic* it was a win and in our position I`ll take any three points but again it`s down to scoring we were all ways on end of them pulling one back if we survive this season were are the goals going to come from next season is Showunmi on a one season contract or is his two seasons long and whose else is on a contract
that takes them into next year(apart from Mahon who may have to go giving his track record) if Showumni is only a year one
I could see him going, out of the squad who would you retain
for next season including loan players.

Robbie Weir Ash Taylor Michael Kay
Zoumana Bakayogo Joss Labadie Adam McGurk
Lateef Elford Alliyu Max Blanchard
Showunmi and Joe Collister. all of these would depend on have we retained league one status and who the gaffer is(most likely Les) any thoughs one the above squad any one who should be added from present squad and who should be taken out of my list hoping that we retain league 1 status seems a bit early thinking of next year but it soon comes round.

I think PJ and Les will may have other ideas for Jennings I would have added Jenno to my list but if he turns it on for the remaining games I think £££££££££££££££££ may come into play others are fishing and talking£££££££££.

It wasn't fantastic but an improvement on the other games, however it is still nail biting. A win, ok but they can ahd should play better.

we played a hell of allot better tahn we had in past to home games.

and yesterday it was nice to see chiped balls into players not hoofed

I would echo all these players, though I'm not entirely sure about McGurk, I am still 50/50 about Wood who you didn't mention. If he left fair enough, if he stayed I wouldn't be dissapointed either.

I would like Broomes to stay but I think he won't and realistically given he was signed before this season and will be on one of the more enhanced wages, keeping the wage would mean being able to split it 2 or 3 ways and tag it onto the negotiations for 2-3 new players and if using his wage helped to pay 2-3 players, otherwise not obtainable if he was contracted, then that's a good thing.

Having Kay and Warner kept on would be a big boost for the start of the season, as it would keep the pretty impressive back 5 together, with McChrystal, Cresswell and Goodison too.

I'm now thinking maybe Mahon wouldn't be a good choice to keep on, but would Mahon be willing to take on a coaching or scouting role of some kind? As his injury issues would make it hard to get a decent deal anywjere and maybe this would be a way forward.

Dare I even suggest if Les goes, Mahon be given the nod as a player manager, with Goodison as a possible assistant if the baord didn't want to keep Kevin on, or vice versa, or would that be a step too far to have both of them in the mix .

His attitude around the place is said to be very good, so perhaps if he had a backseat role, that would be of some benefit also, that he could be a positive influence on players and have some kind of training input or input on signings.
