After Tranmere's 2-0 home win in N Power League One on Saturday afternoon, Total Tranmere is giving you the chance to vote for your Man of the Match.

Another decent Rovers display saw them take a 2-0 lead in the first half through Enoch Showumni and Ian Goodison and although the visitors made more of a fight of it in the second half, the damage had been done.

Lots of contenders today. Joss was superb, Zoum was dominating, Goody was his usual brilliant self and got his sixth goal of the season (the same amount as his previous six years), Showunmi got a goal and ran himself into the ground, Akins was productive, Cresswell's crossing was superb...and add into that McGurk looks so much better following that goal!

I wonder why the possibility of Goodison playing as a striker has never been entertained.

I know it sound loopy, but having recognised he's score 6 goals this season including 2 in 2, his scoring credentials don't look altogether shabby.

If Tranmere are safe with 2-3 games left, I reckon Les should play Goodison upfront and see if Akins would work at Centre Back, to see if both have been missing their true callings.

Goodison could say he always liked playing upfront, when he was a kid, but he just played at CB all his career, because he's modest and not one to complain (Sm6).

Enoch gave everything for the cause,Akins was strong on his runs, nobody has mentioned Mc Chrystal was commanding in defence ,Warner kept us in it,I couldn't pick a winner so I am going for their goalie for a couple of great saves & being a great entertainer with our supporters & throwing his gloves to our fans, pity there's not more characters in the game like him
