Rovers Add Further Friendly and Consider Another

Total Tranmere understands that a further friendly has been added to Rovers' pre-season schedule and that another is in the process of being arranged, which would take the number of pre-season games to twelve.......
Total Tranmere understands that a further pre-season friendly has been added to the already packed list of games announced recently and that a further game is in the process of being arranged which would take the total number of pre-season friendly matches to twelve.
It is believed Tranmere will play Ellesmere Port FC away on Saturday 30th July, just 24 hours after they travel to Shrewsbury for a game that was originally scheduled for the 30th itself but was then moved to the Friday night (29th July).
In addition to this, it is thought that Rovers will face Gap Connahs Quay on Wednesday 3rd August away in Deeside which is just 24 hours after the visit of Liverpool to Prenton Park and just three days before the season itself gets under way.
Once this game is game is confirmed we will bring the news here on Total Tranmere whilst we are also led to beleive that this pre-season, all of Rovers players, from both youth and first team, are likely to be involved in every friendly game at some point rather than some games being youth and some senior players only.

Saturday 23rd July: Altrincham (A) - Kick Off 3:00pm
Tuesday 26th July: Heswall Youth (A) - Kick Off 7.00pm
Wednesday 27th July: Manchester United XI (H) - Kick Off 7.30pm
Friday 29th July: Shrewsbury Town (A) - Kick Off 7.30pm
Saturday 30th July: Ellesmere Port FC (A) - Kick Off TBC
