By Matthew Jones
July 18 2011

Following on from an interview with Colwyn Bay manager Dave Challinor, the latest episode of the Totally Tranmere podcast, recorded on July 11th, sees regular hosts Matthew Jones and Paul Harper interview former Rovers midfielder Alan Morgan.
The interview is part of Totally Tranmere's indepth coverage of Rovers' pre-season games, with the focus of the interview not only being Morgan's time as a player at Rovers, but also on Aberystwyth, whom the 37-year old currently manages and whom Tranmere play on Friday in a pre-season friendly, and on Morgan's current coaching role at Tranmere's Centre of Excellence.
In this lengthy interview, the former Rovers utility man speaks passionately about not only Tranmere Rovers but also football in general, with his infectious love for the game coming across clearly.
He tells Totally Tranmere how a move to Prenton Park came about in the first place as well as discussing why Rovers were so successful under John Aldridge.
