Rovers have today completed the signing of Turkish born player Mustafa Tiryaki on a one-year contract to boost the squad ahead of the new season on Saturday......
Tranmere Rovers are understood to have signed former Havant and Waterlooville striker Mustafa Tiryaki on a one-year contract, with the option to sign the player up for a further year at the end of next season.
Tiryaki joined Rovers on trial this summer and first played against Altrincham in a 2-0 defeat.
He was disappointing in that game, but Rovers boss Les Parry has since revealed the player had food poisoning when playing the game.
The 24-year old rejoined Tranmere for their game against Liverpool after Vinni Dantas was denied a work permit and scored during a 2-0 win for the Prenton Park outfit, impressing throughout as he played the full 90 minutes.
He has spent the last few years in English Non League Football, playing for Maidenhead, for whom he scored 20 goals in 42 games as well as spending time out on loan at Potters Bar.
He left Havant and Waterlooville after struggling to agree terms with the club and is understood to be keen to play in professional football in England.

Mustafa's signing is great news,i hope Les plays him tomorrow from the start.He gave the highly rated Daniel Ayala of Liverpool a torrid time on tuesday,tireless in his work for the team,he was strong on the ball,great passing,fabulous chip to the far post to McGurk to head over,could be the find of the season.I'm looking forward to Saturday with great optimism,come on the super white army!!!
He did it early last season when Gunnar Nielsen went on international duty, asked for that info to be kept off the official site ahead of the Walsall cup match
Great signing. His performance against Liverpool was outstanding and he will be a fantastic edition to the squad. It's good to have another big man to cover for Enoch when he's injured. It will certainly allow us to rest Enoch in games where last season he had to play.Personally, I would play him tomorrow or if not then at least against Doncaster to give him some match time.
