After Tranmere edged through the first round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy on penalties following a 1-1 draw after ninety minutes against League Two side Port Vale on Tuesday evening, we are asking you to vote for your Man of the Match from the game.

After Rovers defender Mark McChrystal missed an early penalty for Rovers, the visitors took a second half lead before Ash Taylor equalised two minutes from time and Rovers went on to win the tie 4-2 on penalties.

Zoum was excellent first half but along with a number of others, not so good second half.

Ash was also very good!

I went for Ash Taylor. Not his best game but he made up for his headed miss with the goal and bravely stood up for the final penalty so he gets my vote.
