After the success of the launch event of the Tranmere Former Players Foundation after the final game of last  season, the Foundation have now been able to announce details of their latest fundraising event which will take place in late November.

The dinner event will take place on Saturday 19th November following the Tranmere home match against Sheffield Wednesday and will feature a guest speaker in the shape of former Rovers defender Steve Mungall as well as some of his playing colleagues hopefully in attendance too.

There will also be a local comedian to round off the evening which will begin with a reception and then a three course meal at 8.00pm.

The event is set to take place at the Kingsland Cabaret Rooms on Borough Road in Prenton (adjacent to the dry cleaners at the former petrol station site) and there will be a smart dress code.

Tickets for the event are priced at £27.50 per person if purchased before Sunday 9th October and £30 for tickets sold thereafter whilst there will also be discounts to these prices for tables of 10 or more who book together.

The price of the ticket includes a 3-course meal with full waitress service and will also include a chance to win a raffle prize.  On the night there will be some raffle prizes and some ‘money can’t buy’ auction prizes.

I was thinking that if there was enough interest in this that Total Tranmere could get a table to make it cheaper?

I hope so as I'm hoping to go also.

If you go come and introduce yourself, you have been standing quite near us on Tuesday at Accrington from what you said about the injury incident.
