After Tranmere fell to a harsh 2-1 defeat away at Preston in NPower League One on Saturday afternoon, we are asking you to vote for your Tranmere Man of the Match from the game.

Tranmere fell behind in the first half after Neil Mellor's dive in the penalty area yet again against Rovers handed the home team an undeserved penalty from which Alexander scored.  Rovers equalised through debutant Jose Baxter in the second half and promptly battered the home side for a spell before they scored the winner on the break and against the run of play through former Rovers loanee Danny Mayor.

Agreed and on what I've heard and read so far there won't be many that disagree today!

My problem with him is, he's got all the qualities of a great striker / winger, but the actual gamit of final touches. He's just not complete enough in that area.

I don't expect him to be scoring with the aplomb of Wayne Rooney or Aquero, but he busts his nuts, to ultimately achieve little for the goal tallies, which is a bit frustrating.

I only hope his continued performances of late can increase his yield, because if not, you'd be looking to loan even a consistently boring finisher, than a consistently enthralling non-finisher.

Can't fault his effort though.

Then I ate his Liver.......... with some baked beans and a can of coke.

I would play Akins through the middle instead of enoch as for me at the moment he is the better player and hopefully devanney could play wide

I disagree bigmart.

Akins had a terrible first season for us and yesterday, and the 3 previous games or so he has looked a completely different player. To sum it up - he's in great form at the moment, playing from the wing.

If you moved him up top it could take a few games to adjust to playing there and by then, his confidence may be lost and we would wipe away his form.

I'd keep him where he is whilst he's in this form, and wouldn't try to knock it by moving him position, besides I think I'd try Tiryaki their first before Akins, regardless!

Great game from Akins - looking a different player.

Enoch is fine..... leave well alone!

Can't work out why Les took him off and shuffled Goody up front. Preston down to 10 men.... throw Mussy on WITH Enoch for last ditch leveller..........

and 2 heart stopping slips from Weir covering for Goody - not a centre back Mr Weir!

PCandChris sums it up there about the substitution and then playing Goody upfront shortly after. Certainly a kick in the teeth for Enoch!

Just a question, when Devaney returns does he come back in on the wing and if so for Akins or McGurk?

Discuss lol!

Put Devaney on the left wing and slip Adam in up top

Agree with that Matthew, Mcgurk up top. We are just missing that player who can finish off the moves. If we had that player we would have won on saturday, beaten Yoevil etc
