Tranmere Rovers have today re-signing forward Lateef Elford-Alliyu on loan from Premier League side West Bromwich Albion.
Elford-Alliyu, nicknamed Pan, spent four months at Prenton Park last season and had a great impact on the Tranmere side, scoring five goals in seventeen games, including two goals in a 3-1 win away at Plymouth Argyle.
The Nigerian, who has played for England at U17 level, originally joined Rovers in December and was set to stay at Prenton Park until the end of the season, with Rovers extending his deal each month, until a knee injury brought his season to a premature end.
Les Parry stated in the summer that he would have brought the player back on a season long loan this year, only his knee injury hadn't cleared up in time. However, Pan has now returned to action and recently scored what was described as a "strong individual goal" for West Brom's reserves in a 3-2 win away to Chelsea.
Now aged 19, Elford-Alliyu goes straight into Tranmere's squad to face Rochdale in League One tomorrow, a game that will see Tranmere jump up to twelfth in the table if they win.
Pan is one of a number of players to have joined the club on loan from West Brom in recent seasons, with fellow players Joss Labadie, Luke Daniels and Sam Mantam having swapped The Hawthornes for Prenton Park.

Sorry, but my apology was only promised if announced by the end of last week. Monday is a new week hence breaking a key condition in the promise. I still stand by my orginal post in that i think this was just a guess, and all guesses have a percentage chance of being correct, I also stated it would be plausible and am happy it has turned out to be correct.
I predict you wont like this response and there is a high percentage chance I will be correct
Made up with the news of the addition of Alliyu on loan. A good footballer who can beat his man, has some pace and can shoot on target. If he can come up with the same sort of form that he showed on his previous loan spell we will have brought some quality into our forward play.
good signing. hopefully he can get the goals we dearly need. could work well with tiryaki. just hope we dont stick him up there on his own. or out on the wing!!

Having moved to the Wirral in 1989, I was lucky enough to begin following Rovers through the glory days of Johnny King etc.
Prior to becoming a Wirral resident I was a West Brom follower, hence my sources in relation to this particular event, most of my closest friends remain baggies fanatics.
Different sort of player all together Jade than Baxter. Played mostly on the Right if My Memory serves me right in his last loan spell.Excellent pace,good shot and good finisher.
He played on the right and scored from ther ein the 1-1 with Rochdale last season. He played often upfront scoring I think 4 goals in 3 consecutive games from there.
Then I ate his Liver.......... with some baked beans and a can of coke.
