Total Tranmere brings you a run down of the odds ahead of Tranmere's game against Charlton at Prenton Park this weekend

After the postponement of their home game against Preston last weekend, Tranmere Rovers play their first home game for three weeks this Saturday as they take on runaway League One leaders Charlton Athletic at Prenton Park.

Les Parry's men are still in search of their first win of 2012 and are up against an extremely strong Charlton side, but when Rovers travelled to the Valley earlier in the season, they picked up a 1-1 draw and held their own against Chris Powell's side, whilst they kept a second clean sheet of the year against Carlisle on Tuesday, showing perhaps that their form is about to take a turn for the better.

Tranmere - 29/10 (Bet 365)

Ian Goodison - 16/1 (Bet 365)

Tipster: This will be a really tough game for Tranmere against a Charlton side who are flying high at the top of the League One table, well capable of scoring goals and will be keen to extend their lead at the top of the table over their rivals.

However, as Tranmere displayed against Huddersfield in their most recent home game, they are capable of holding their own, if not playing better than, some of the top teams in the division and as such Les Parry will be hoping his side can pick up at least a point in this match.

At EVENS, Ladbrokes' odds on both teams NOT to score look good odds, with Tranmere showing they are capable of keeping a clean sheet on Tuesday following the return of Owain fon Williams to the Rovers side, playing his second game since a long lay off.

Elsewhere, William Hill will offer you 16/1  on Tranmere to win with Adam McGurk scoring the first goal, not bad odds considering the form the striker has been in of late.

Please Note: Odds are subject to change, particularly on Saturday as kick off draws nearer or more bookmakers open up markets.  Total Tranmere does not encourage betting.
