Total Tranmere brings you a run down of the odds ahead of tomorrow's trip to Oldham in League One

Tranmere Rovers this week take on Oldham Athletic at Boundary Park in a hugely important game in NPower League One.

Les Parry's side come into the game on a dour run of form that has seen them win just once since the end of October, but with draws against high placed opposition in their last two games, Rovers may be confident of finally beginning to turn the corner and end that run of form.

They come up against Paul Dickov's Oldham side who are just above Rovers in the League table and come into the fixture on the back of a 5-0 defeat to MK Dons last weekend.  So, are Rovers to expect a backlash, or could their opposition be ready to fold over again?

Tipster: Tranmere Rovers have struggled to pick up wins away from home over the last three months, but a draw against Carlisle in their last away game (0-0) ended a long run of defeats on the round, and I personally just sense that things are perhaps beginning to change for Rovers in terms of form.

I therefore think Rovers have got a real chance of picking up a positive result this weekend and I wouldn't put it past them picking up their first away win since the end of October and first win of 2012 against an Oldham side who could well be low on confidence.

At 10/1, Ladbrokes' odds on Tranmere to win by two goals look good odds, as although Les Parry's side have struggled to hit the back of the net this season, Oldham's defence conceded five last weekend and I think it's just a matter of time before Rovers start netting a few more.

Elsewhere, William Hill will offer you 16/1  on Tranmere to win with Adam McGurk scoring the first goal, not bad odds considering the form the striker has been in of late, as well as 15/2 on Tranmere to win with Martin Devaney scoring anytime.
