Rovers To Play Marine and Lairds

Two more pre-season friendlies announced
Tranmere's pre-season friendly list is quickly beginning to take shape after fourth and fifth games were announced today. On top of games against League Two opposition Port Vale and Fleetwood Town, Tranmere will now also face local Non-League sides Marine and Cammell Laird away from home.
Rovers' trip to Crosby has become a regular feature of the pre-season friendly fixture lists for both sides in recent years, with Tranmere last year beating the Evo-Stik North North Division side 2-0, winger Lucas Akins getting on the scoresheet.
The game will take place at Marine's Arriva Stadium home on Saturday 28th July, 3.00pm kick off.
The Cammell Laird fixture meanwhile is also a long running tradition and will take place on July 23rd, 7.00pm kick off. Last season, Tranmere centre-back Will Vaulks was sent to the Birkenhead outfit on loan in order to gain first team experience and has subsequently been handed his first professional contract.

Tuesday 23rd July - Cammell Laird (A), 7.00pm kick off
Friday 27th July - Vauxhall Motors (A), 7.00pm kick off
Saturday 28th July - Marine (A), 3.00pm kick off
Saturday 4th August - Fleetwood Town (A), 3:00pm kick off
Saturday 11th August - Port Vale (A), 3:00pm kick off
