Supporters Trust Launch Coach Travel Season Ticket Scheme

The Tranmere Rovers Trust have recently launched a season ticket scheme for away travel via the Trust organised supporters coaches for the 2012/13 season to reduce the overall costs for regular away travellers..... 

The Tranmere Rovers Trust has launched an Away Travel Season Ticket to offer supporters the most cost effective route to following Rovers on the road during the 2012/2013 campaign.

Following the success of the Trust's away trips last season, coach travel to 14 away matches will be organised during the forthcoming campaign and supporters can purchase a season ticket to give them access to all trips through to May.

The season ticket offers fans a saving of around 10% on the cost of purchasing Trust travel separately throughout the season and works out at just over £15 per game.

Speaking of the season ticket offer, Trust vice-Chairman Mark Bartley said......

“Having successfully organised several away trips last season, we have decided to continue this on a more regular basis for 2012/13, ensuring supporters have access to cut-price travel for as many games as possible."

“We listened to what supporters wanted with the season ticket and came up with a scheme that offers great value to those fans who wish to travel to all fourteen of the matches we have selected."

Trust Coach travel will also be available on a match-by-match basis, with prices starting as low as £10. Matches covered include fixtures in the North-West, including Oldham and Crewe, to several further afield, such as the long trips to Portsmouth and Stevenage.

The coaches typically call in at a local pub around lunchtime to enable supporters to have food and drink before moving onto the ground prior to kick-off.

The Trust began organising away travel last season to make following Rovers on the road more affordable and increase the level of away support at crucial matches.
