Thanks to the joys of Sky Television, Friday night football returns to Prenton Park in mid-November with the home game against Milton Keynes Dons being shown live to the nation........
After what seems like a very long time, Friday night football will be returning to Prenton Park this autumn after Sky TV opted to televise Tranmere’s home NPower League One fixture against Milton Keynes Dons following Rovers early success so far this season.
As a result of the game being live on television, the match will now take place on Friday 16th November instead of Saturday 17th with kick off being at 7.45pm following agreement between both clubs and the Football League.
Tranmere’s last home league game broadcast live on television was the 3-1 win over Norwich City in April 2009 whilst more recently the televised game away at Oldham produced one of the most boring games in living memory as both sides saw out an awful 0-0 draw.
