Vote for Your TRFC Man of the Match vs Brentford (H)

After Rovers earned a 1-1 home draw against Brentford on Saturday with a poor performance, we are asking you to vote for your TRFC Man of the Match for the game........

After Rovers gained a point at home to Brentford thanks to a 1-1 draw in which Rovers played terribly against a hard working but very average Brentford side, we are asking you to once again vote for your Rovers Man of the Match for the game.

Rovers played poorly throughout the game and somewhat fortunately took the lead on the hour mark through Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro.  For the remainder of the game it looked as if Brentford were going to continue to be too poor to punish Rovers poor display until the 96th minute when Rovers switched off at a throw in and gifted Brentford a point which they did deserve.

Thought Zoom had a good game defensively and along the wing.

Zoum for me, just shading Gibson. He was absolutely terrific, winning every header, numerous tackles and allowing very little past him.

Palmer for me. The ground that he covers in each game without ever looking even remotely tired is incredible. Made a superb interception towards the end of the match after racing back to cover the defense.

Zoom was the only one who put nearly a full shift in,second player between JLAA and Palmer as for the rest not at the races.

Again,Zoom was brilliant...thers no way Black is going to replace him..he,s having a better season than Buchannon had last year.I also thought Bell-Baggie did well keeping his fruastration under control, firstly by having to watch Thompson ..can,t tackle, can,t beat his man and didn,t get a cross in...then when he thought he was comming on to inject some pace and trickery into the attack(by the way ,he should have been on from the start IMO) Ronnie brings on McGurk who hasn,t played for months and is frightened of tackling.

Zoom had a great game so my vote is there...... but I liked the shout for Palmer, as he is quietly putting in a good shift every game. J-L...... strength and skill for the goal.
