If you can't make Tranmere's game away at Braintree Town on Tuesday evening, why not join in the banter right here with other Rovers fans who are unable to attend whilst you watch the action live on ITV4......
For those fans who can't make some of the Rovers games this season, particularly the more costly and time consuming southern away games, we at Total Tranmere will be providing a Match Discussion Thread on the Site for every Rovers game.
The thread will allow you to discuss everything from the pre-match build up and starting line-up to the game it as it progresses and the post-match analysis.
Where possible, Total Tranmere staff will post up the starting line-up and substitutes on the thread as soon as it is made known at the game as well as a half-time report on how the game is going for the benefit of those who are unable to make it.
Tranmere of course, make the trip to Braintree Town on Tuesday evening in the first round of the FA Cup so if you're not going to the game why not join in the banter right here while the game is going on as Rovers fans around the country watch the action unfold live on ITV4?
Maybe if you have a friend or family member texting you from the game you can post their views here for others to see as the game progresses.
You could also use this thread to discuss other interesting scores throughout the evening as well as discussing this game afterwards if you have watched the game.
What you discuss below is up to you but hopefully it can all be focused on one thread to make it easier for everyone to use.
For those that can't get to watch the game either in person or on TV, admin staff will try and add the team and updates on the game on this thread where possible whilst there will also be our usual update service from our Twitter feed @totaltranmere so if you are not already following us it may be worth doing so!

Big game tonight, we've got a very achievable route to round three, but must take this game seriously. Dodgy pitch, unknown quantities to lift their game and nearly the entire country willing us to lose. It will be close, but I feel with the likes of Stockton coming in to score the goals and Robbo returning, we'll pull through.
IF we win, which we should as the prospect of Chesterfield at Home and a possible Glamour 3rd round tie must be a big incentive.
I know it's one step at a time but let's do the biz tonight and show a large'ish TV audience how good we are.
runcornrover Ah the Magic of the Cup in which logic goes out of the window (like all my predictions this year)
So don't put any money on my 2-0 win for TRFC
Brilliant result and now for Chesterfield.
I forgive you Max for ruining my best chance of a correct
score this season. If we keep winning I don't care if all my
scores are wrong
With our patched up team it showed we do have some depth in the squad! A great showing by the team, very difficult surface to play on. These injuries are piling up though could do with a couple of weeks break! SWA!

I was an armchair fan last night (and am on most occasions due to logistics) and watched the game on the Roger Nelly. Big well done for those of you who made the effort to travel all that way...and for those of you who graced my TV screen last night...you looked like you were enjoying things, but by God you're an ugly bunch!
Good enjoyable game. A lot of positive commentary during the game and by Gordon Strachan and John Aldridge at half time and post match.
Though Cole was outstanding and deserved his MOM award. Definately a keeper and one to watch. Young Jake Kirby looked an exciting player...bit of grooming (non sexual offender type) and he could be good. Not sure on Jervis though...saw Ronnie lambast him late on for not chasing and hassling their player on the ball.
Fairplay to Braintree though. They put up a good fight and a few hairy moments for us early on. Think fitness and class always shines through in the end.
Is Robbo as big in real life as he was on my telly last night? Brill player...would be even better minus a stone or two.

In person he looks solidly built but on the telly yesterday he did look like a bit of a lardy. I hope that's just the camera adding a stone or however much it is and not that he enjoyed his weekend off too much!

yeah great win. only 4 of the team that finished would make the 1st team. Thought Jervis poor, haven't been impressed with him at all so agree I would start Cole with Cassidy on Friday. Hope our rock in Defence, Ash Taylor, is fit as well as Goody looked rusty at times. Still a legend though!

thought stockton was great, get signed up on long term deal and start playing him up front with jake, i no rm has said the both of them cant play together but he brings alot more to the table than jervis does, against a struggling conferince team he did nothing all game and didnt even bother chasing down at the end of game. Ronnie wontbe happy with him and i can see him being sent back as soon as we get a couple of injuries back

dont forget the camera adds 10lbs, by my calculations there were at least 3 cameras on Robbo, in the flesh he's looking in the best shape ive seen him in.

He looked like he needed the 3 cameras to get all of him on the telly
thats the problem with a month long loan for a striker, unless they arrive inform and full of confidence they're going to struggle to fit in. he's having to learn the runs to make and the balls to expect all for a month of football, possibly not high on his agenda, all he may want to do is avoid injury (didnt work out for him) and hopefully bag a goal or two. much easier for midfielders and defenders to slot in on loan as they see much more of the ball.
his style of play over the long run may suit him and it may prove fruitful but when they're coming in to plug a hole in the team for a month i'd prefer to see more passion
One problem with month long loans, is the fact players don't get long to bed in, so if the player is someone that could prove useful, they just get up to room temperature then have to leave.
Then I ate his Liver.......... with some baked beans and a can of coke.
