Derby County (A) Live Updates and Match Discussion
By Deadly Submarine

If you can't make Tranmere's game away at Derby County in the FA Cup on Saturday, why not follow our live match updates right here and join in the banter right and with other Rovers fans who are unable to attend......
Following football even at League One level is pretty expensive these days and no matter how much you love the Rovers, it will sometimes be difficult to make the games in person whether it be the lengthy away trips, or for exiles living elsewhere in the UK or abroad, the home games too.
As a result, for those fans who can't make some of the Rovers games this season, we at Total Tranmere will not only be providing this match discussion thread for you to discuss developments with the game, but in a brand new feature we will also be providing a live updates service from the game which will include team line-ups, score updates and also pictures and snippets live from the game.

Tranmere of course, travel to Derby County in the FA Cup on Saturday so if you're not going to the game why not join in the banter right here while the game is going on? You could use our live updates service to keep tabs on the action at the game whilst discussing all the talking points right here on our discussion thread. You could also use this thread to discuss other interesting scores throughout the league as well as discussing this game afterwards if you have been to watch the game live.
What you discuss below is up to you but hopefully it can all be focused on one thread to make it easier for everyone to use. To follow our live match updates, click on the link below and select the link for the Derby County game from the list.

I reckon it's 50/50 that Robbo can finish the game looking the more accomplished.
Then I ate his Liver.......... with some baked beans and a can of coke.
Just worried if we win that the focus may move away from
the main aim.
If we win I will obviously be very happy.
To be honest, I don't really care about the result, I'm just gonna enjoy the day out.

It all depends on one thing for me. If palmer can play tomorrow then I will be optimistic we could win, if its Danny Harrison then were in for a pasting. If we had our full team out then I think it would be a good test for us against a decent Championship side and perhaps it may be another wake up call for us in terms of how far we have to go to stay in that league if we do go up.
To be honest, I don't really care about the result, I'm just gonna enjoy the day out.
Who played in that position when we got pasted by Swindon? A clue-it wasn't Harrison.

Shall I be the first to utter the "now we can concentrate on th League" platitude?
Yes. Crawley is now a very big game.
I say this every season. League MUST be the priority, and this year theres the added incentive of promotion.
I see Dickov is still holding hope on Baxter, I'm hoping he sees sense and heads for Tranmere, especially after bagging two cup goals against Forest, he's on fresh form and just the kind of player to give Wallace a good return when he's back in a while.
Then I ate his Liver.......... with some baked beans and a can of coke.
Granted were out of the FA cup and can concentrate on the league but we really need to learn from todays game, we made a lot of mistakes and these have to be rectified to stand any chance of going up as Champions.
Saying that though great day out, SWA were immense throughout and I look forward to returning there next season as a Championship club.
We played well up to the first goal. which was a complete goalkeeping howler.
I thought Ash Taylor was excellent.
We created more chances than they did and probably had more possession.
After the break we tried to equalise and it seemed to me that every time they attacked they scored.
The scoreline flattered them.
We didn't deserve that scoreline after our first half performance.
What that result will do to our form we will see. Lets hope that we will bounce back just like we did after Swindon.
I won't criticise any players. The lads have done us proud this season. Especially as we have so many u21s in our squad.
It was good banter between fans, and the stewards were very good.
PS. Wasnt Gareth Roberts a great pro yesterday? His reaction to his substitution and the acknowledging of the fans applause.
SWA.
I thought the first half we looked very accomplished and not out of place at all.
Nobody got injured, sent off or even booked so we have a full roll-call for the Crawley game - every games a Cup game for us from now on.
It sounded like a bit of a sloppy defending performanc,e but being 1 down at half time represented some guts and I'm sure with players like Akpro, Wallace and Bell-baggie in the team, it could have been a potentially more resolute performance with at least one goal in it.
Then I ate his Liver.......... with some baked beans and a can of coke.
Normal service will be resumed on Saturday vs Crawley.
