Charity Night to be Held in Memory of Rovers Fan

Details of the upcoming charity night at Prenton Park in memory of Tranmere Rovers fan Anthony Cookson who died in 2011.......
A charity evening is being held in the Aldo's Suite at Prenton Park on Friday 8th March in memory of Tranmere Rovers fan Anthony Cookson who sadly passed away in 2011 after losing his battle with cancer.
Anthony was known and loved by many who attend Rovers matches both home and away and it is hoped that the charity night in his memory will raise lot's of money.
The event begins at 7.30pm in Aldo's (behind the Kop Stand at Prenton Park) and will cost £5.00 which can be paid on the night and will involve lots of fun events including a DJ all night for entertainment, a raffle, an auction, bingo and spot the ball. All proceeds will go towards the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham where Anthony was treated from a young age.
Everyone is welcome to this charity event and Organiser Megan Howard is still looking for any donations of prizes for the raffle. If you wish to donate a prize or prizes and for any further information about the event you can contact Megan at megan_howard13@hotmail.co.uk.
