Lairds Friendly Added to Pre-Season Schedule

Rovers will face regular pre-season opponents Cammell Laird once again as part of the 2013/14 pre season campaign as the number of fixtures announced continues to rise as the summer approaches....
As the summer of no Rovers related football continues, the news of pre-season friendlies continues to come in with another one announced this week for Rovers.
Following last weeks announcement that Rovers will travel to Altrincham in pre-season, this week the customary trip to face local side Cammell Lairds at their Kirklands Stadium was confirmed. This year the game will take place on Monday 8th July with a 7.00pm kick off.
As previously announced, Rovers will also travel to Moss Lane to face Altrincham FC on Tuesday 16th July for a 7.30pm kick off against the Blue Square Bet North side for what has seemingly become a semi-regular pre-season game there in recent years.
There are also reports that Rovers will face Welsh side Rhyl FC in a pre-season match on Friday 12th July but this is yet to be confirmed offically as well as another traditional friendly away at Marine being suggested but again as yet unconfirmed.
