Total Tranmere FC Prepare for Charity Tournament

Our very own Tranmere Rovers supporters team gear up for battle in an upcoming charity football tournament in North Wales……
Total Tranmere FC are putting their final preparations in place this week for their participation in a charity 7-a-side football tournament a week on Saturday in North Wales.
TTFC will be one of eight teams taking part in the North Wales Dragons Invitational Football Tournament on Saturday 8th June which will take place at the brand new Indoor Events Arena at Eirias Park in Colwyn Bay and will see all the teams do battle in aid of a number of different charities.
The chosen charity for which Total Tranmere FC have decided to raise money is the Clatterbridge Cancer Charity which has affected a number of squad members in recent years both personally as well as friends and family members and the squad as a whole will be hoping to raise a large amount of money for this great cause.

TTFC have a number of key players missing from their squad for a number of reasons ranging from holidays to injuries and personal reasons and the absent list unfortunately includes influential Captain Rich Smith and top scorer for the 2012/13 season, Dani Read.
In spite of this Total Tranmere FC will be hoping to have some success in this tournament as well as the all important factor of raising money for the Clatterbridge Cancer Charity.
The tournament is an all afternoon event with each match lasting for twenty minutes and will also be followed by a charity entertainment event in Eirias Park in the evening following the conclusion of the days football activities so if you live locally to Colwyn Bay or fancy a day out at the seaside and watching some amateur football in the process, why not come down and give Total Tranmere FC some support?

Directions to the Indoor Events Arena (Postcode LL29 7SP)
From the westbound A55 heading in the direction of Llandudno and Anglesey, exit the A55 at Junction 22 signposted Old Colwyn/Eirias Park and Promenade and at the bottom of the sliproad turn left.
At the top of the hill at the roundabout, take the fourth exit (the far right exit) signposted A547 Colwyn Bay and then continue straight ahead past the entrance on the right for the Civic Centre and North Wales Police Headquarters.
Soon after on the right you will see the new Indoor Events Arena and the entrance to the car park on the right hand side. If you miss this entrance you can take the next right into Eirias Park where more parking is available at the opposite end of the Athletics track to where the Events Arena is.
