We will put 10 men behind the ball, only loose 3-0.

There's no chance we will go into the game with any hope of winning it.

Surely it cant be 5 0 again, cant see us getting anything out of the game 2 0 to them

They've lost a few on the spin so they'll return to form tomorrow....when they play us. 3-0 posh.

Here we go, 3rd time lucky, other two 5-0 to them.
If we start games like we have for the past two months, timid, defending from our 18 yard box, scared of losing, formation 4-5-1, with Lowe isolated, give Peterboro' too much respect. Then I can see only one result, another heavy defeat.

But I wouldn't mind a jammy 1-0 away win, we need it to stay out of the bottom 4, or a draw would do. I'm wishing too much aren't I?

As I'm top of the prediction league, 3-0 to posh.

I would be happy with a 3-0 loss (sorry to be so negative). I can't see the youngsters at the back dealing with Britt for 90 minutes.

4-0 Posh, one better than the last two outings. In my reckoning we may beat them in four years time! However I doubt we will be in the same league then!!

Ronnie please go..... We are a joke we cant even have a shot on target.... With the players we have too, weres robinson by the way or why hasnt sodje played he can play for the reserves but not first team ???? Very odd

2-0 down getting beat 3 times by the same team in a season so embarrising dont care what any of u lot say this season and last season we have been awful it has to fall dpwn to the manager surely??

I now think Ronnie should go. Just a change of management may inspire players who, on the face of it, should be doing better. I can't really see where a decent performance is going to come from. I may even apply as I am sure I could bring passion back!!!!!

Got to agree with you Goosed. Ronnie is dragging us down to league two. Enough is enough, surely PJ even realises that if he wants to sell the club and I am starting to believe all this talk of a buyer is pure bull @#$%&, are status as a league 1 club is of paramount importance. How much longer do we have to put up with this shambles. A new manager is a start but the whole club needs a spring clean, the majority of players are not good enough to play at this level. League two without a doubt next season and then oblivion. Let's hear what's happening with any prospective buyer (ha ha), if anyone this season takes over the club I will be truly amazed. The Trust should have made a strong push over two years ago not leave it until the last three months. That was a complete none starter. Its about time we all realised including those with rose tinted glasses that we are in free fall and something has to be done. Rant over and now the drive back to London.

I visited Charter's before the match and as I left I spoke to some Tranmere fans about the match.

The consensus on their teams chances was most succinct "We're ****e" they opined and they were right.

After 4 consecutive League defeats (hard on the heels of an earlier much worse run) had Posh in free-fall down the table,
surely Tranmere, a team we have humbled 5 - 0 on two occasions already this season, would be the perfect opponents to
gain a change in fortune.

Thankfully Tranmere had read the script and to echo the immortal words of their long-suffering fans they were ****e.

Apart from being beaten by a shot that rebounded off the inside of the post into his grateful arms, just after the half-time
restart and a routine block later on, Joe Day, replacing an out of form Bobby Olejnik in goal, could not have hoped for an
easier League debut - he was a virtual spectator for the majority of the match.

A pitch that was heavy and cut up badly was not conducive to fast, free-flowing football played on the ground, though for the
majority of this season that style of play seemed to be alien to Posh. We had started the season Defensively sound (most un-Poshlike) and struggling
to score goals, especially in Home matches. After a good start (results-wise) the wheels appeared to fall off and the old Defensive frailty returned,
a sure recipe for disaster.

Finally a clean sheet and 3 points!

A fairly soft penalty was awarded to Posh within the first 5 minutes when Britt went down rather easily under pressure from a Tranmere Defender. He recovered to
coolly dispatch the spot-kick.

Apart from a free-kick just outside the box Day was a bystander during the first period, with Posh having a great deal of possession without posing a real threat,
the ball frequently sticking in the mud, bobbling on divots or skidding out of play on the greasy surface did not help matters.

For the first 5 minutes of the second half it was all Tranmere, the only period of dominance they had. If the shot that hit the post had gone in who knows what might have
happened?

Posh survived that brief onslaught and began to exert pressure of their own on the hard working fon Williams. After a series of corners and free-kicks Posh had
the ball in the net thanks to Brisley only for his effort to be ruled out for a foul and earning himself a booking for his prolonged protest.

Soon after it was 2 - 0. Yet another corner was cleared by the Tranmere Defence but this time the ball was headed straight back into the box for a delighted Nicky Ajose to
stoop and head the ball past fon Williams.

Tranmere did rally briefly, pushing forward in search of a goal. this was to prove their undoing when they had a corner and Posh caught them with with a rapid counter-attack
Ajose this time performing the role of provider for Britt, who shrugged off the attention of the Defender and curl the ball past the keeper just inside the far post for goal number three.

The sigh of relief from the Posh fans was tangible, with only about 10 minutes left the game had to be won - it was.

With a resurgent Notts County next to visit London Road on Tuesday night, for what I believe will be a tough match, I can only hope the weather remains clement and the
ground staff have a chance to repair the ravages to the pitch.

It is easy to blame Moore but at the heart of the issue is that the whole club has a sense of drift. At board level there is no vision in part because PJ no longer offers any form of leadership.The problems of managgement are more a symptom than a cause of our malaise.
Too many small incidents suggest that there is no real spirit of togetherness between the players. Hardly surprising when the team is dominated by passing through personel.
Hard core fans will,out of habit, stick with it, but there is absolutely nothing to make others want to come to games.
It is easy as a Rovers fan to accept that there will be more struggle than success but the anomie around the club is potentially destructive. A club short of resources can be relegated and then perform well at the next level down. A club without direction however is likely to struggle at every level.My fear is not simply relegation but the fact that we look so ripe for slipping in steady decending drop out of the league
