Crawley Town v Tranmere Rovers Match Discussion

By Deadly Submarine

If you can't make Tranmere's crucial game away at Crawley Town on Tuesday evening, why not join in the banter right here with other Rovers fans who are unable to attend...

Following football even at League One level is pretty expensive these days and no matter how much you love the Rovers, it will sometimes be difficult to make the games in person whether it be the lengthy away trips, or for exiles living elsewhere in the UK or abroad, the home games too.

As a result, for those fans who can't make some of the Rovers games this season, we at Total Tranmere will be providing this match discussion thread for you to discuss developments with the game.

Celebration 2013-14

Tranmere of course, travel to the Broadfield Stadium to face Crawley Town on Tuesday evening in Skybet League One, so if you're not going to the game why not join in the banter right here while the game is going on? You could also use this thread to discuss other interesting scores throughout the league as well as discussing this game afterwards if you have been to watch the game live.

What you discuss below is up to you but hopefully it can all be focused on one thread to make it easier for everyone to use.

If on, We have the chance to carry on with the good work we did Saturday. The game plan must be, to once again take the game to them, play through our midfield and dominate play. Maybe, Ronnie has realised this is the way forward. We will see.

I would not make any changes in the team or shape and formation. 3 points are there for the taking if we believe.

Which would you rather be; us with games played and points on the board or them with (6?)games in hand?

I'm undecided. But we need to stop them taking 3 PTs on tues night

We have a massive 1 more point than them. It would have to be a pretty disastrous run of results not to be able to make that up in six games.

They are playing every Saturday and Tuesday until the end of March so that will take its toll at some point without doubt.

Could I ask anyone who was at the game at the weekend, what was the formation played?

As Jason Koumas described them as a mdfield 3,

Is Lowe on the wing?

2-5 ...A repeat of last years result ....funny how these things happen...the bookies would say I'm wrong as the odds are 500/1... but I will have a few quid on it..I wonder if Ronnie has..?? Only joking!!!

Can't see a Coventry thread so.... As of Thursday night, 591 tickets have been sold by Coventry. So I guess that will mean about 5000 attendance or is it likely to be less than that?

Oh go on then. I will go and take a chance ;0)

Willing to bet that team will now gel just because of the 'change'. Am guessing 2 - 0 to Tranmere. Lowe to scored in 77 minute followed by a 90 minute scrambled effort. Wonder what odds I would get for that...

If your prediction comes true in the circumstances you have stated Mal, I will hail you as the new Messiah. I will bring you a couple of gallons of water for you to turn into wine for me as I've been a bit skint lately.(Sm128)

Mal, I have decided that you are not the new Messiah and I am going to the offy for my wine as I won a couple of bob on the fixed odds. (Sm128)
