If you can't make Tranmere's game at home to Swindon Town on Tuesday evening, why not join in the banter right here with other Rovers fans who are unable to attend...
Following football even at League One level is pretty expensive these days and no matter how much you love the Rovers, it will sometimes be difficult to make the games in person whether it be the lengthy away trips, or for exiles living elsewhere in the UK or abroad, the home games too. As a result, for those fans who can't make some of the Rovers games this season, we at Total Tranmere will be providing this match discussion thread for you to discuss developments with the game.
Tranmere of course, host Swindon Town on Tuesday evening in Sky Bet League One, so if you're not going to the game why not join in the banter right here while the game is going on? You could also use this thread to discuss other interesting scores throughout the league as well as discussing this game afterwards if you have been to watch the game live. What you discuss below is up to you but hopefully it can all be focused on one thread to make it easier for everyone to use.

The injuries are not at the right time, as if there's ever a right time, but it's even worse at such a crucial time of the season. Jennings looks like a miss, Koumas is doubtful and Holmes appears to be doubtful too, but fortunately Wallace is fine as he had concerns over him recently.
Then I ate his Liver.......... with some baked beans and a can of coke.
Don't matter what team Macca puts out, as long as the attitude is right and we play attacking football and put them under pressure. We sit back and try and pinch a result, that is were we come unstuck.
Swindle aren't that good.
We need two wins this week if we are going to beat the drop.
they've only won 3 on the road and have 5 out injured or suspended. they almost certainly can't get into the play offs. if we want to survive and show it we can win 2 or 3 - 1, if we don't then at least round 9.30pm tonight we'll know for sure

With the growing injury list and players like brown in the side .i cant see us getting all 3 points tonight . The club has been in free fall since last feb .and to be honest with the players we got to call on and mcmahon picking the team and tactics we are in deep trouble.new broom to sweep clean needed very soon .i hate to say it or even think it but there are not 4 teams worse than us in the league .we will finish 4th from bottom .i pray i am proved wrong but when moore was put on suspention and all we can do is turn to mcmahon who is not even a good coach the writing was on the wall .so lets just get this@#$%&season over get in new blood and rebuild the club and we can be proud of the rovers again .and my last note thank you ronnie and your staff good luck in your futures but its byeee byeee .your not good enough
A bigger issue is whether there is a club that is so poorly managed. We seem to lack any sense of direction in terms of building a team that can compete. Signings appear almost random and I really doubt that any of the loans have been watched before being signed. Another winger seems odd when we are screaming for decent full backs.
There seems to be no assessment of how to bring on the development of our own young players. Yes we lack money but we also waste what little there is.
I want us to stay up but given the total drift since the start of 2013 no club deserves relegation more.
Will relegation change the attitude of a buyer? Will our Board respond if we are relegated? My quess is that we will continue to simply drift along in our current rudderless manner. It is a season where there are plenty of poor clubs and hence we are still in touch but we look less convincing than most of the teams around us.

Would the last perdon to leave prenton park tonight please turn the lights off .and lock the gates .and leave a note for the milkman .no milk today .byeeeeee league one thanks for haveing us .
With luck like the last couple of games we are down! Fully deserved to win again today.... but didn't.
Credit again to John McMahon who not only had them fired up for the game but when we went behind he bit the bullet and went for it again with three at the back just like last week.
Sad to say but why oh why were we playing most of the time down the left wing, where Kirby etc. were very poor when the young new winger was desperate to get the ball...on the 2 occasions he did he should what could have been...IMO the manager and coach should have been more tactically aware....next game,FEED THE YOUNG RIGHT WINGER.

Fonners had no chance with the first.
Goody and Ash immense, as was the defence as a whole.
Well on top up to conceding the second, then fell apart, switch to three at the back didn't work this time, and destroyed the momentum which he had been generating.
Cassidy, poor, but who knows what would have happened if Fotheringham had not made the save.
Kirkby, looked out of his depth, lacking in confidence, and more importantly heart, as he did not seek to recover the ball when he lost it.
Robinson, appalling, should be retired immediately, if he is to provide any influence, then he should look to play as per their no 15, find space and distribute early, he no longer has the fitness to beat a man, and it was embarrassing to see him trying to grab shorts as players went past him (unfortunately, it appears his social life has finally caught up with him).
Also concerning to note that any suggestion that it was a unified team went out of the window last night, with mini tantrums when players did not feel they received the right ball.
We should have won the three points, but second goal buried us - I have yet to see whether it was an error, or a fluke (but concerned after the similar goal at Bristol).
Shake up required on Saturday, I would suggest that we keep the back four as per last night, Give Mooney a chance (note Goody - when ball was kicked to the right whilst all of the team were on the left, and ash - when cross was punched despite no challenge instead of being caught; both gave Fonners a serious rollicking).
Give brown a run on the left and the new lad on the right, and play power with whomever is fit in the middle.
Upfront, cole and Ryan, at least we know that Cole can hold the ball up, and will get a shot on target.
As for saturday, something has got to give, Carlisle have scored 1 goal in seven games, whilst we have conceded 14 in six.
It's the first time in a long time I left Prenton park this season gutted that we didn't get the three points. We matched them in midfield for most of the match, even after Wallace departed.
It just didn't go for us at times and if you want to put blame anywhere for their second, ridehalgh for not dealing with it earlier. Saying that though, apart from the mistake, he read every ball they tried to spray across the pitch.
I thought max had an outstanding game last night, especially when he was in the middle alongside Jenno, it allowed him to get forward more and not have to deal with defending as much. As for robbo, he should never play for us again. He spent most of his time on the pitch either moaning to the ref or shouting at other players. He's unfit and a waste of a wage. He had a negative impact on the game when he came on as we completely lost our shape and momentum. You can also see that some of the players don't want him their either.
If we're going to play with two up top, cole has to be given a go. Cassidy is too similar to Lowe, it just doesn't work. I think he will create more opportunities for Lowe also.
I also have to say its a bit doom and gloom on here for my liking. We're not in the bottom four yet, we play the team who are in their on Saturday and can put 3 points between them and us if we win. Granted we were unlucky last night but if you think we were unlucky on Saturday, your deluded because we deserved to lose based purely on how bad we defended.
For 60 minutes we were much the better team and should really have won the game but we cannot keep a clean sheet and missed too many chances. The final half hour we were poor just aimless launching the ball, players in a system that didn't suit them and we totally lost our way.
Stockton simply should be given a few games starting to see what he can do as Cassidy is just not scoring. If we can win on Saturday think we just will stay up but fail to win and I can see us going down.
