Hansie Cronje. The spirit of a deceased former sporting crook lives on.

I'd go 1-0. Regardless of the defensive concerns, form is up lately and I think after beating Bury and competing pretty well against Luton, I think Tranmere are better placed now to try and stick it to the better sides in league 2.

Then I ate his Liver.......... with some baked beans and a can of coke.

Realistically if we get anything from a game against team fired up by having Hasselbaink as their manager and a real promotion prospect it would be a real sign of progress.

Should we lose it won't be the end of the world.A poor result against Northampton would be more damaging.

Can not see anything but a heavy defeat. Need to keep our discipline and avoid any sending offs, can not afford to lose any more of the regular starting eleven.

Wow, there's toothless, then there's not a single shot on goal for ninety minutes. The strikers in our squad I'm afraid, are not good enough. A performance like this has been coming thanks to Adams' persistence to play strikers that don't perform. Why he won't give Richards a chance I don't understand. At least he's mobile and worked bloody hard. And was at least slightly positive in his only game under Adams. The defence isn't the problem. To concede two goals against a good side with ten men is a fair effort. I'm not complaining about the result exactly, as I always felt we would get beat with key defenders injured, away at one of the best sides in the league, but to be so easy to keep out, even after they lost Sheriff, is a bit embarrassing.

the problem is all over the pitch, we don't keep many clean sheets and don't score enough goals. Its not as if we are creating numerous chances every game and the strikers are missing them is it.

In fairness to the defence, they aren't conceding THAT many goals, and conceding two with ten men to Burton is a fair effort. As far as the strikers go, I didn't see the game but from what I have seen they are too static, so the midfield can hardly create chances for them. Even then against Cambridge Stockton and Fenelon both missed glorious chances to win the game, and Adams decided to select them to start the next game. I like Stockton as a player, and would prefer to see him partnered with the more mobile and technically proficient Richards.

I would prefer to see Richards selected too-but Adams has obviously made up his mind about him without giving him a sniff of a chance.

It's a shame hoots. Under Edwards he looked like our only interested player.

I think Richards should be given a go in the side but he isn't a goalscorer and never will be.

Adams may lament the sending off, but whatever the circumstances, if you give a referee any excuse some will take it.

However to get no shots in an entire match even with 10 is horse dung. York had someone sent off in their match in the final 3rd of the game and had shots after the event.

Northampton could have been overhauled with the win today, because they're up next, but not now, so Dagenham is the only chance to climb out of the bottom 2, if they don't win next time.

Then I ate his Liver.......... with some baked beans and a can of coke.

The referee was awful today but regardless we'd have still lost with eleven men in the same dismal manner as even before the sending off we were never in it!

No offence to either player but the subs smacked of absolute desperation - a winger who retired at the end of last season and a striker who despite his size is useless in the air and not much better on the ground. Plus both came on for our two best player. But don't worry Adams knows what he's doing (apparently)

Oh yeah and Holness was at fault for the corner conceded and then lost his man for Sherriff's goal. Useless!

Something tells me you've got it in for Holness sub.

I know you don't rate Adams Deadly, but I doubt any manager could do much with our current squad of players.

He's steadied the ship slightly, but unless we make wholesale changes in the next transfer window, we are going to struggle all season.

I don't think M.A will have enough money to do what's required.

One thing is certain though, there's a few failures that need to be shipped out.

Subs not the only one that's got it in for Holness, nothing against Holness he tries but overall he is useless no other word for it perhaps he's not as good as Goody's left leg with out the rest of Goody.(Sm60)

What makes you think that Deadly has it in for Holness? He offerred two pieces of evidence that showed Holness shortcomings. Even Holness mother would find it hard to deny that all too often this year he has cost us points.

No shots yesterday was glum but too often our defence also concedes silly goals. We are crying out for a consistent and experienced central defender. Our problems lie both up front and at the back and we could do with an additional midfielder that can defend and distribute well (nether Rowe or Laird are good enough).

I do not see Richards solving any problems up front. His record for Bristol Rovers shows his limitations.Using Shuker shows the lack of effective wide players at the club.

Almost certainly the manager can see the problems. The real problem is that most of the squad would look unattractive to conference sides so it is really difficult to see how we get rid of deadwood. The club is hide bound by a succession of dreadful decisions made since Moore's departure and only a minority of those where made by Edwards

Holness and Laird are the two players who some fans seem to have made this seasons' scapegoats in my opinion pretty unfairly.

Laird has been picked on ever since he had a dodgy debut against York-people ignore the good games he has had in favour of the bad ones. I think people in his position have historically been picked upon by our ''supporters''-nothing changes.

Holness has been better since he played in the middle of the back three yet some still blame him for other players' mistakes[e.g the giving away of the corner that led to the Cambridge equaliser].

Richards' record for Bristol Rovers is irrelevant. He has not been given a fair chance[ in fact no chance] by Adams.

And finally ''HAVE WE HAD A SHOT YET?'' Probably not. [Shakes head in dismay.]

Just looking at the highlights, I'm not even sure it WAS Holness who lost his man for the goal, looked more like it was Jenno. Scapegoating Holness is not the way forward, all the players make mistakes, and we particularly pick on his. What really concerns me is one particular highlight that showed Odejayi putting the ball on a plate for Stockton, and the complete lack of drive or determination from Cole to get on the end of the knock down. Would Richards have been able to get to it? Personally I think so, but in fairness it may not have changed much.

I said at the start of the season that we were awful all over the park. We huff and puff and things have improved slightly but overall we are where we deserve to be.
A complete new team should be the windows objective.

That's a bit of an overreaction, we've been beaten by three teams since Adams took over and they were Luton and Burton away and Southend at home. The players are virtually all new to the club and the managers that have beaten us have said we don't deserve to be where we are. You'll see, a win tomorrow and everyone's opinions will change, a loss and it will be doom and despair even with half a season left. There are worse teams than us and I believe that will show as the season goes on.
