Fon Williams Nets Northampton Man of the Match Vote

After another shortened period of voting because of Tranmere's game tomorrow night at Cambridge, it can now be confirmed that you, the fans and readers of this site, voted goalkeeper Owain Fon Williams as your Tranmere Rovers Man of the Match for last Saturday's 1-0 away defeat against playoff chasing Northampton Town.

Having made a string of good saves in the game, a number of them extremely good ones, that kept the scores level prior to the deciding goal, the majority of voters agreed that Welsh international Fon Williams was the man to take the award for this game.

As you can see from the poll below, Fonners polled 64% of the votes cast (22 votes) with the nearest joint challengers being defensive duo Liam Ridehalgh and Janoi Donacien tho both polled 14% of the vote each (3 votes). 

Outside of the top 3 in the poll, only two others players polled votes at all with Max Power and the previous Man of the Match winner (from the home game against Dagenham and Redbridge), Danny Gardner polling just 5% of the vote each (1 vote).
