Two More Acts Added to Comedy Night Line-Up

Two further acts have been confirmed for the upcoming Comedy Night at Prenton Park............

The organisers behind the new Tranmere Rovers Comedy Club, Wirral Laughin, have announced the addition of two further acts for the opening night of Comedy on Monday April 13th.

The previously announced headline act Partick Monahan and support act Maff Brown will now also be joined on the night by Alun Cochrane and Jim Smallman.  TV comic Cochrane is an award winning comedian who has just completed a national tour and is one of the brightest comics in the country.  As well as appearing every week as Frank Skinner's co-host on his Absolute Radio Show every Saturday – the most downloaded podcast in commercial radio, he has also appeared on Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Mock The Week, Eight Of Ten Cats, Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow and Have I Got News For You.  Alun is a regular headliner at clubs up and down the country.

The second additional comic announced is Jim Smallman who will be coming in as compere for the night.  Jim is an established comedian who has compered the UKs top comedy nights. H e is a regular on BBC Radio 5 Live's Fighting Talk and another fantastic act who the organisers are delighted to have.
