Hume Wins Oxford (H) Man of the Match Vote

In our Man of the Match vote from last Saturday's 3-0 home defeat to Oxford United, it was Iain Hume who got the vote of the fans to become Man of the Match........

After six days of voting since the game came to an end, we can now reveal that the Man of the Match for last Saturday's 3-0 home defeat to Oxford United, as voted for by you the fans and readers of this site, was Iain Hume. 

After a scoreless first half, Rovers collapsed in the second half of the game, allowing to goals in the space of just over a minute which effectively killed off Rovers' chances before Oxford then added a third goal to rub salt into Tranmere's wounds.

As you can see from the poll below which had a total of thirteen votes cast during the full length voting period this time around, Iain Hume polled 54% of the vote (7 votes) with only two other players who started the game polling any other votes.  Owain Fon Williams came in in second place with 23% of the vote (3 votes) whilst George Green polled 8% of the vote (1 vote).  Substitutes Jason Koumas and Marc Laird also polled 8% of the vote each (1 vote each) to complete the voting.
