Following the 1-0 home defeat to Bury this afternoon which saw the visitors claim automatic promotion to League One, we are asking you to vote for you Tranmere Man of the Match from the game as part of our post-match poll series.
Rovers arguably put in a half decent performance compared to recent games in a game where Bury, despite their superior League position offered very little themselves and proved that the difference between the top and bottom of League Two isn't too much at all. It was Tom Soares who scored the all important goal just after the hour mark for the Shakers after yet more poor defending from the Tranmere back line.

The game also saw two of Rovers' recently youth scholars make appearances off the bench late on with Ben Jago making his second appearance in the first team after turning professional last week and forst year scholar Tolani Omotola also coming on, replacing Rory Donnelly with fifteen minutes remaining.
