Tranmere have today confirmed two home pre-season games against Championship and League One opposition......
As the quiet time of the football year gets into full flow, Tranmere have kept some news going with the announcement today that two home friendlies will take place in late July and early August against League One and Championship opposition.
The first game confirmed is the visit of Championship side Blackburn Rovers to Prenton Park on Friday 24th July which will kick off at 7.45pm before just over a week later, newly promoted League One side Shrewsbury Town will come to Prenton Park on Saturday 1st August with a 3.00pm kick off.
Speaking to the Tranmere Rovers Official Websiteabout the Blackburn pre-season game, Manager Gary Brabinsaid....
"I'm pleased that we've been able to arrange this fixture. It will be a really good test for the players to be up against a strong Championship side as we prepare for the new season, so I'm looking forward to it."
Tranmere have confirmed that admission details for both of these games will be available later in the summer whilst further pre-season friendly matches will be announced in due course.

Friday 24th July: Blackburn Rovers (H) - 7.45pm
