Total Tranmere Voluntary Opportunities
By Deadly Submarine
June 15 2015
Following our recent recruitment drive, Total Tranmere has three further voluntary opportunities for anyone interested in helping Total Tranmere out......
In a further effort to much improve our service to the readers of this site, Total Tranmere is still looking for voluntary help with a number of aspects of the site and here we provide information about a further three ways you can help us out if you feel you want to get involved following on from recent appointments we've already made.
As stated above, all positions are voluntary and there are no closing dates for expressions of interest as the positions that aren’t filled will be continually advertised at stages throughout the year.
In addition to the three positions below we are always on the lookout for anyone who has an interest in writing about Tranmere Rovers whether it be a one off contribution or story or a series of articles. We would welcome any such contributions at any time during the season and especially during the summer break when other Rovers related news can be quite slow.
Match Reporter(s)
Total Tranmere is looking for a Rovers fan or perhaps more than one fan to become our Match Reporter for the new 2015/16 season in the Vanarama National League.
If you travel home and away across the country with Rovers and have an interest in and ability for, writing about matches you have seen then you could be the ideal candidate to take up the role of Match Reporter.
No previous experience is required but a standard of grammar and spelling will be preferred and the role is ideal for either someone with a future desire to become a sports journalist who can gain vital experience for your CV or simply someone who watches the majority of Rovers games and would like to write their reviews every week.
If more than one applicant comes forward, it is likely the role will be split between home and away match reporting for ease of management throughout the season.
For further information this role, or to express an interest, please e-mail info@total-tranmere.co.uk.
Advertising/Marketing Assistant
Total Tranmere has scope to host adverts at the top of our message forum to raise some money for the site. This money, if generated will then be put back into advertising the site in other places including perhaps sponsorship of a Tranmere player in the matchday programme.
We are therefore looking for someone to assist the website Owner with contacting any potential interested parties including local or sports related national businesses in order to try and raise some advertising revenue.
No real marketing experience is required for this role, the volunteer simply needs to have some local business knowledge and have good written (and where required) oral communication skills to be able to find interested parties.
For further information this role, or to express an interest, please e-mail info@total-tranmere.co.uk.
Social Media Analyst
Our previous request to fill this position was taken up by one willing volunteer but due to the numerous possibilities this position could create in terms of editorial content we have decided to advertise this position again in the hope of appointing a second person to work in partnership with the other candidate to provide excellent Social Media related content onto the Total Tranmere website. The idea of the role is to combine the many views and opinions mentioned on social media, with the platform that the website offers to those supporters who do not have access to social media.
We are therefore looking for someone who has the time and enthusiam to produce hopefully a weekly contribution to the website whch will be a summary of news and views on Tranmere Rovers taken directly from Twitter and Facebook. Whether this is views on a previous game, something that has been announced by the Club or anything else it doesn't matter. The idea is simply to inform non social media users that read Total Tranmere of other views on Rovers aside from the message forum and local radio phone-ins.
There are no special requirements for anyone interested in volunteering to carry out this role. All that is required is that you have your own Facebook and Twitter accounts that you don’t mind using (access to the Total Tranmere Twitter and Facebook is currently not practical but could be sorted in future if all goes well) and a keen interest contributing to the Total Tranmere website.
For further information this role, or to express an interest, please e-mail info@total-tranmere.co.uk.
