Our annual Prediction League based on all Tranmere first team matches in the 2015/16 season is now underway with some of the August fixtures up and ready for you to predict......

Following the recent release of the National League fixtures, Total Tranmere can now reveal that the annual Prediction League for Tranmere Rovers competitve matches is now ready to begin.

As in recent years, every Tranmere first team match in all competitions will be entered into our Prediction League game and all you have to do is remember to predict the score and submit.  Then once the game is over and the result is inputted bythe Admin Team, the League Table will calcualte automatically.

To enter you will simply need a Sportnetwork account so if you already post on our message forum you should automatically be logged into the game when you click on the link below.  If you don't yet have an account you can set one up HERE.

The points scoring for the Prediction League works as follows:

For a correct Result and Score predicted = 3 Points

For a correct Result only predicted = 1 Point

A goal difference is then calculated based on how many goals out you are when your prediction is compared to the actual result and if points are level, this score is used to determine who moves ahead.

To access the Prediction League CLICK HERE whilst there is also a link near the top of the left hand menu on the site itself.

Good Luck!

I'm after my trophy back.

It will be interesting to see the predictions as goals are important to the predictions!

Just a note that the first game won't be updated immediately with the score but don't panic I'll get round to it!

So this is my 1st year in the prediction league, how does it work?

I predicted 2-1 so i get a draw for the correct result, but my goal difference says -2, shouldnt it be -1 ?

i said 2 but we scored 1, or is it i said 2-1 so it is -2 one for each incorrect score?

had i said 2-0 it would have been -1??

Hi Andy

I'm not fully sure myself despite the number of years we have done this. I've really taken much notice of the goal difference column!

I'll try to find out!
