No Televised Rovers Opener

There will be no televised National League games on the opening weekend of the season....

 

 

 

 

 

 

Despite rumours to the contrary earlier in the week, the Vanarama National League has today confirmed that none of its opening weekend fixtures on Saturday 8th August will be televised and that all games will remain as 3.00pm kick offs on the Saturday afternoon.

It had been rumoured that Tranmere's opening fixture at home to Woking could be moved to the Friday evening for screening by BT Sport subject to the teams both agreeing to it but for whatever reason, neither that game nor any other will be televised Live during the opening weekend meaning that Rovers will have to wait for their non-League TV debut which is surely likely to happen at some point in 2015/16.

As when the televised National League games are announced, we will bring you news right here on Total Tranmere.
