Following this afternoon's 2-0 home defeat to Boreham Wood at Prenton Park thanks to two second half goals from the visitors, we are asking you to vote for you Tranmere Man of the Match from the game as part of our post-match poll series.
The first half of the game was much like Rovers previous two games, with Rovers unable to break through and the opposition having a fair share of possession but offering little to trouble Scott Davies or the Rovers defence. In the second half however, just as they did against Gateshead, the Rovers defence switched off and gifted the visitors a goal with their only real chance of the game up to that point to make it 1-0.
Following the goal Tranmere just looked more and more sloppy as the game wore on and gifted the visitors a perhaps undeserved second goal in injury time to make for a flattering scoreline but not an undeserved result in favour of Boreham Wood.

Ridehalgh drew the short straw of being the sponsors man of the match and having to give an interview in the Platinum Suite. I felt sorry for him being wheeled up there so soon after the game but he answered the questions honestly basically saying there were no positives whatsoever in todays performance.
Chap in row J, seat 130 of the town paddock, one good header and safe pair of hands when collecting another ball cleared into the crowd. Solid performance from him, hope he can build on it this season.
Don't see how anyone could go for any player other than Sutton and Ridehalgh who were the only ones with their heads up when they had the ball. Sympathy for Ihiekwe who at times seemed to have to defend and attack on his own down the entire right flank and did as well as any centre back could in that position. Riley was OK. Everyone else was terrible.
Mekki didn't have much time but certainly wasnt bad enough to suggest an out of place central midfielder is a better option!
