Harris on Top Again in Halifax Man of the Match Poll

In our latest Man of the Match vote of the new season which related to the midweek 1-0 home win over FC Halifax Town last Tuesday evening, Jay Harris got the nod to take his second award of the month.....  

After a full week of voting following Tranmere's 1-0 home win over FC Halifax Town last Tuesday evening, we can now reveal that the Man of the Match for Tranmere's victory, as voted for by you the fans and readers of this site, was once again midfielder Jay Harris. 

After winning the Man of the Match for the opening day home game against Woking which Rovers also won 1-0, Harris made it two awards out of two at home with the star performance in this game as well as Rovers eventually made the all important breakthrough to take the three points thanks to Andy Mangan's goal.

As you can see from the poll below which saw a total of 39 votes cast during the full length voting period this time around, the vote was extremely one sided on this occasion with Harris polling twice as many votes as his nearest challenger.  Polling 41% of the vote (16 votes), the former Wrexham midfielder easily saw off competition from second placed Liam Ridehalgh who polled 21% of the vote (8 votes).

Goalscorer Andy Mangan was in third place with 13% of the votes (5 votes) ahead of Jonathon Margetts with 8% of the votes (3 votes) whilst only Michael Iheikwe and Steven Jennings failed to poll any votes at all with the rest of the players polling either two votes (5%) or 1 vote (3%).
